SOME SCENARIO'S:
I have a $5 ECB from last week, so my plan is this:
1 Dulcolax Balance (won't use it? Donate it... you'll make money on it for future purchases!), $9.99
1 Schick Hydro Razor, $8.97
- $5/1 Dulcolax from May All You magazine
- $5/1 Schick Hydro razor, 8/8/10 SS
- $5 ECB
GRAND TOTAL: $3.96 plus tax
GET BACK: $9.99 and $4 ECB (total of $13.99)
So, I use my $5 ECB and spend $3.96 plus tax (let's assume $5 total) and walk away with $13.99 for next week...my profit is still $3.99 and I have a razor and can donate the Dulcolax! PLUS, I'll get the $8.97 for the Schick razor rebate, making it a profit of a little under $13!
If you have NO ECB's at all... here's a scenario:
TRANSACTION 1:
1 Schick Hydro razor, $8.97
- $5/1 Schick Hydro, 8/8/10 SS
Total Due: $3.97 plus tax
GET BACK: $4 ECB
TRANSACTION 2:
Dulcolax Balance, $9.99
- $5/1 from May All You magazine
- $4 ECB
Total Due: $.99 plus tax
GET BACK: $9.99 in ECB
You spent around $5 out of pocket for the razor and Dulcolax and have a $9.99 ECB for next week, so your net profit is between $4 and $5 depending on the tax amount. PLUS, if you submit for the razor rebate, you'll get back $8.97 making it an even bigger money maker!
As always, if you have any questions, please comment here or e-mail me at commoncentsdiva @ gmail.com (remove spaces).
Blink Tears will be $7.99 and you'll get $7.99 in ECB's back. Head over HERE and print your coupon for $1.50/1 making this a $1.50 moneymaker!!
